One of the most popular formats, Coke Studio, which music lovers and enthusiasts have enjoyed for a long time, is all set to return. This time, the maker has rebranded the show as ‘Coke Studio Bharat’ and will also focus on showcasing a new set of artists from different parts of India.
Coke Studio Bharat: Release Details – When and Where to Watch it Online
The new season title, ‘Coke Studio Bharat,’ will highlight different genres and forms of music from corners of India. It will be an amalgamation of more than 50 artists who will join hands and present more than ten memorable tracks from the roots of India.
Fans can watch Coke Studio Bharat on the official YouTube channel from February 7, 2023.
Coke Studio Bharat: Musicians and Makers
The format, in the previous seasons, was presented in collaboration with MTV. However, the broadcaster is no longer associated with Coke Studio. This time around, Coca-Cola has partnered with Universal Music India (UMI) as executive producers.
Coke Studio Bharat will feature celebrated musicians and artists namely Aditya Gadhvi, Arijit Datta, Amaan and Ayaan Ali Bangash, Armaan Malik, Bombay Brass, Dhruv Vishwanath, Diljit Dosanjh, Jasleen Royal, Kanwar Grewal, Maithili Thakur & Brothers, Mohammad Muneem, Noor Mohammad, OAFF & Savera, Rashmeet Kaur, Shillong Chamber Choir and many more. On the other hand, makers have also made an effort to bring a spotlight to traditional Indian instruments like Algozha, Chimta, Duff, Sarod, Sarangi, Tumbi, and Rabaab.

Coke Studio Bharat: Launch
The new format of Coke Studio was recently announced at an event held in Mumbai in the presence of some musicians. Talking about the show, Coke Studio, in a press statement, said, “The platform will host music that pays homage to the various parts of India that artists call home, connecting with stories that are rich in history, with diverse languages, and using varied musical instruments creating magical melodies set to enthral.”
It is being said that the makers are also going to release regional formats of the show, like Coke Studio Tamil and Coke Studio Bengali, which will give the coveted stage to many popular names from the region.

Talking about the new format, the VP of Marketing Coca-Cola India and Southwest Asia said, “Coke Studio, a globally acclaimed platform, has always aimed to celebrate authentic regional music. Musical traditions from multiple regions in India are at an inflexion point not only in India but even globally. Coke Studio Bharat connects the truly distinct cultural dots of various regions in the country with artists whose music is defined by their roots. They are the real stars of the season, giving regional music a bigger impetus.”

Besides just musicians, the team has also brought several known songwriters like Ankur Tewari, Kausar Munir and others who have been an integral part of selecting regional gems for the show who will give a new voice to their music
