Galaxy Unpacked 2023: Galaxy Book 3 Ultra, Galaxy Book 3 Pro and Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 Launch – Specs and availablity

Samsung just launched its latest flagship Samsung Galaxy S23 series and Galaxy Book 3 series globally in an event from San Francisco.

Samsung had this to say on the launch of the notebooks, “The Galaxy Book3 series is designed for those who need seamless multi-device connectivity and premium hardware to supercharge their productivity and creativity.”

Let us talk about the Galaxy Book 3 series of notebooks that was launched today.

Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra

Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro is the new flagship notebook from Samsung, and it is the first Ultra device in Samsung’s notebooks.

It comes with a metal unibody design and looks super premium. The display goes up against the edges of the frame and it will be a delight to watch videos on it. It is a 16-inch 3K AMOLED display.

It is powered by a 13th generation Intel Core i9 13900H processor, and the RAM goes up to 32GB and 1TB NVMe SSD. It also comes with dedicated graphics support of either the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 or Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 graphics card depending on the model.

Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra comes at a weight of 1.8 kg and has a thickness of 17mm. It comes with a 76Whr battery and has a USB Type C power adapter rated at 100W. The device is powered by Windows 11 and comes with AKG-tuned quad speakers with support for Dolby Atmos. Galaxy Book 3 Ultra only comes in a single colour – Graphite.

Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 14 and Galaxy Book 3 Pro 16

Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro comes in two different display sizes, a 14-inch one and a 16-inch one. Both are AMOLED panels with a resolution of 3K.

Both the laptops will come with two 13th-generation Intel Core processors – Core i5-1340P and Core i7-1360P. The RAM support goes up to 16GB, and the internal storage is up to 1TB NVMe SSD. It doesn’t come with dedicated graphics support, it will be handled by the Iris Xe graphics of the onboard processors.

The 14-inch Galaxy Book 3 Pro weighs 1.2 kg and has a thickness of 11mm. It comes with a 63WHr battery and has bundled 65W power adapter. Meanwhile, the 16-inch Galaxy Book 3 Pro weighs 1.6 kg and comes in at 13mm thickness. It has a 76WHr battery and a 65W power adapter itself.

Both the laptops come with Windows 11, and they come in two colours – Graphite and Beige. Both also come with AKG-tuned quad speakers with support for Dolby Atmos.

Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360

This is the 2-in-1 iteration of the Galaxy Book 3 Pro notebook. It comes with more or less the same design language as that of Galaxy Book 3 Pro but with a 360° rotatable display. It is a touchscreen laptop and features support for S Pen, and S Pen is included in the box.

It is powered by the latest 13th-generation Intel Core i5 or Intel Core i7 processors. The RAM goes up to 32GB while the internal storage goes up to 1TB.

It also comes with a 76WHr battery and has support for 65W fast charging via a USB Type C power adaptor.

It features USB-C ports on either side, a headphone jack and a MicroSD card slot on the left side.

Like Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro, it also comes in two colours – Graphite and Beige.

Pricing and Availability of Galaxy Book 3 Pro

  • Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra starts at, and it will go on sale from February 22.
  • Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 14-inch starts at $1,249 (approximately Rs 1,02,000) and will be available from February 17.
  • Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 starts at $1,399 (approximately Rs 1,14,000) and will be available from February 17.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Series

Samsung has also launched the latest S series flagships – Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S23 & Samsung Galaxy S23+.

Galaxy S23 starts at $799 (Rs  65 300 approximately) while Galaxy S23+ starts at $999 (Rs 81,600 approximately)

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra feels almost the same devices as Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and starts at $1199 (approximately Rs 98,000).
