There’s usually plenty of hype and speculation surrounding the annual Apple iPhone refresh. It’s clear at this point that this year will be no different. We’ve already come across a ton of unofficial info detailing the upcoming flagship’s hardware specifications. A new revelation today talks about the use of a new colour shade considered similar to burgundy. More specifically, it bears the colour code (#410D0D), which can be likened to a darker shade of red.
Apple already offers a standard red version of its iPhones under (PRODUCT)RED, but this darker red option will undoubtedly be different. The folks at 9to5Mac first dropped the information on the new colour variant for the iPhone 15 Pro, citing an unnamed source.

In addition to the new colour for the iPhone 15 Pro models, the standard variants, such as the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus, could be available in pink and light blue colours this year, 9to5Mac further reports.
We’re still months away from the iPhone 15’s release, meaning that a lot could change between now and then. But launching new colours, especially for the Pro and Pro Max models, is not out of character for Apple.
What we know about the iPhone 15 so far
Alleged renders of the iPhone 15 Pro have been making the rounds for a while. We were treated to more CAD renders this week, supposedly detailing the iPhone 15, with its dual rear cameras and a 6.2-inch OLED display paired with Dynamic Island, which is currently limited to the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max.
Another report has shed light on the potential pricing of the upcoming iPhone 15 series, though it’s too early to draw any conclusions from such leaks at this point. We’re hoping to come across more leaks pertaining to the iPhone 15 lineup in the future, especially after June, when the next big iOS version will be unveiled.
