The Apple iPhone 15 series is no stranger to the rumour mill, even if the company hasn’t shared any information on the upcoming flagships, plus the fact that the phones are at least six to seven months away, based on our estimations. But the leaks keep piling on, and some new ones have pointed at some of the bigger changes coming to Apple’s flagship smartphone lineup this September.
Starting with the iPhone 15 Pro Max (or Ultra), reliable leakster Ice Universe shared a couple of CAD renders of the upcoming flagship, highlighting a lack of physical buttons, which previous leaks have also discussed. We can also see the USB-C port prominently visible, while the source claims that the middle frame is made of a titanium alloy. Moreover, the bezels appear to be significantly shorter, though the phone appears to be thicker than its predecessor.

As is the case with any leak, it’s tough to tell if this will materialize. But considering the pressure on Apple to implement USB-C ports on iPhones, especially in Europe, we may see a design somewhat similar to this with the finished product. But with that being said, there are too many variables at play here, and as we mentioned earlier, plenty of time left. So take all of this with a grain of salt.
Dynamic Island is making its way to the iPhone 15 Plus
The folks at 9to5Mac managed to get their hands on some exclusive renders of the iPhone 15 Plus, showing off the inclusion of Dynamic Island. This feature has been rumoured to be making its way to the more affordable iPhones in the lineup, hence making it a common feature among all iPhones starting later this year. We’re not sure how iPhone 14 Plus owners feel about this, however.
These renders come from supply chain sources, such as case/cover manufacturers, and are thus considered reliable. It would take quite a significant 180 for Apple to shy away from Dynamic Island for the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models later this year.
