Realme GT 3 retail box image leaked, could be rebranded version of this phone

Realme GT 3 could be the next flagship phone for the global market. Reliable tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka OnLeaks) has shared a leaked image of its retail box. The image reveals that the device will arrive with support for 240W SuperVOOC charging.

On February 9th, 2023, Realme will launch the Realme GT Neo 5 in China. Reports have revealed that the device will arrive in 150W and 240W charging variants. Hence, it is being speculated that the Realme GT 3 that is heading to the global market could be a rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo 5 240W.

Realme GT 3 specifications (rumoured)

The rumour mill is yet to spill information on the specifications of the Realme GT 3. Like its predecessor, the Realme GT 2, which features the Snapdragon 888 chip, the GT 3 will be an affordable flagship phone. It is too early to conclude that the GT 3 is a rebadged edition of the Realme GT Neo 5 240W. There is a possibility that it will be an entirely different phone with support for 240W fast charging. The reason behind it is that as per our exclusive reportthe GT Neo 5 with 240W will be showcased globally at the MWC 2023 even at the end of this mont.  Hence, it is advisable to wait for further reports to know more about it.

As far as the Realme GT Neo 5 is concerned, it will pack a 5,000mAh battery that supports 150W charging. The GT Neo 5 240W variant will house a 4,600mAh battery with 240W charging. The rest of the specs will be identical on both models.

The GT Neo 5 will arrive with a 6.74-inch OLED screen that offers a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip will be present under the hood of the GT Neo 5.

The GT Neo 5 will arrive with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM. The affordable flagship phone may come with up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device will be equipped with Realme UI 4.0-flavoured Android 13 OS.

On the front, it will have a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and there will be an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel primary camera on the back. The main snapper will be joined by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The back panel of the device will have an RGB-lighting unit that will glow for notifications and while gaming. The device will offer other features like an IR blaster and NFC connectivity.
