Joining the library is Roktokorobi, a series which is said to have a promising premise.

Presented as a thriller, fans can watch Roktokorobi on Zee5. The series has a total of eleven episodes, and all of them are now available on the said platform.

Roktokorobi: Cast and Crew
Directed by Sayantan Ghoshal and written by Sahana Dutta, Roktokorobi stars Raima Sen, Vikram Chatterjee, Bhaswar Chatterjee, Santilal Mukherjee, Laboni Sarkar, Tulika Basu, Haridas Chatterjee, among others. The cinematography of the show has been done by Tuban, whereas Rohit Samanta and Sahana Dutta have produced the show, which will be released as a Zee5 original.

Roktokorobi: Trailer and Premise
The premise of Roktokorobi, as shared by the makers on IMDb, reads, “One of Satyaki’s patients commits suicide while under treatment. It leaves him broken. He quits practising as a psychologist as locals ransack his chamber. Satyaki goes to his aunt’s house at Jonai, where uncanny events start taking place.”

Actress Raima Sen who was seen in films in the early 2000s, has become a popular name in the Bengali OTT content space. Talking about being a part of the thriller, Raima, in an interview with the Times of India, said, “I am a great fan of thrillers and criminal stories, like Mind Hunters. I think people will enjoy Roktokorobi, which beautifully blends family drama and thriller. Both genres are very popular, and Sahana Di has weaved Roktokorobi’s story in such a way that it will keep the audience seated. A family might look perfect but what goes on behind closed doors is something else.”

“I am playing Ranja’s character. She is the soul of the family. Her husband depends on her. Her mother-in-law, father-in-law and other family members also depend on her. Ranja is a very loveable character. She helps her husband’s cousin (the character played by Vikram), who is the protagonist. Satyaki, who is a psychologist, goes through hell because one of his patients dies by suicide. So, Ranja helps her get over it and face reality. And while doing so, how they caught up in a web of lies and deceit is interesting. They start unravelling secrets of their families,” she added about her role.
