Tecno Phantom V Fold’s live shots have been leaked in a new report by MySmartPrice, which cites tipster Paras Guglani as a source. Tecno has recently confirmed that it will be present at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 tech trade show, which will be held later this month in Barcelona, Spain. There is a possibility that the company may use the platform to unveil the Phantom V Fold.
The Phantom V Fold’s arrival seems imminent since it was approved by the Bluetooth SIG authority in December 2022. Last month, the company showcased its Phantom Vision V concept foldable phone with a rollable screen. Since it is a concept phone, it is unlikely to release in the market, but the Phantom V Fold may release in multiple markets, including India.

In the leaked images, the Phantom V Fold can be seen covered in a protective case. The case manages to hide the design of the device, but its triple camera unit with LED flash can be clearly seen. The device appears to have an inward-folding design, similar to the majority of other foldable phones on the market.
The device seems to be equipped with a tall cover display, which has a punch-hole design. One of the images, which shows the hinge of the phone, reveals that it is beige in colour. Unfortunately, the report has no information on the specifications of the device.

According to an African YouTuber (TechArena24), the Phantom V Fold will be powered by the Dimensity 9000 chipset and 12GB of RAM. It may come in 256GB and 512GB storage variants. The other specifications of the device are yet to be revealed. Lastly, it is expected to debut as the most affordable foldable phone.
