Vivo V27, V27 Pro key details on chipset, cameras emerge before expected February launch

Vivo V27 and V27 Pro are expected to launch this month in India. Both devices will replace the Vivo V25 and V25 Pro smartphones that were announced last year in India. Speculations are rife that the Vivo V27 series could be similar to the Vivo S16 lineup, which recently debuted in China.

To recall, the Vivo V25 series offered fewer upgrades as compared to its predecessor, the V23 lineup. According to 91mobiles, its sources have revealed that both models will come with major upgrades in departments like photography and performance. Here are all the new details that the publication has leaked about the V27 lineup.

Last year, the Vivo V25 Pro featured a curved edge display, but the V25 had a flat screen. The new report reveals that the Vivo V27 Pro as well as the Vivo V27 will feature a curved edge screen. Both phones will have high-end Sony cameras, which will offer better photography experiences in low-light conditions.

The Vivo V27 series is also expected to have a third model named the Vivo V27e, which may debut at a later date. The whole series will be sold in Vivo India’s online store, on Flipkart, and in stores across the country.

As per our exclusive report, the Indian variants, i.e., the Vivo V27 5G and V27 Pro 5G, have V2231 and V2230 model numbers, respectively. The global editions of V27 5G and V27e 5G have model numbers V2246 and V2237, respectively. The V27 lineup is likely to break cover by the middle or end of February in India.
